Do pest control companies need a licence in New York?

Yes. The NYS Department of Environmental Conservation certifies pesticide applicators and registers pest control businesses. Ask to see the applicator's certification.

They look for warmth and food as it gets colder. Sealing gaps around pipes, vents and doors is the first step; a pest control company can find the entry points you missed.
